Who is Peter Burke?
Peter’s journey began as a humble waiter at The Royal Hotel Bangor, where his talent and dedication were quickly recognised. He pursued a Catering Diploma at the Europa Hotel under the mentorship of General Manager Harper Brown, which laid the foundation for an extraordinary career.
Since then, Peter has:
– Held key positions at The Hasting Hotels and Culloden Hotel
– Served as Chairman of the Guild of Sommeliers
– Represented Northern Ireland in the SOMMELIER of the Year Competition three times (2001, 2002, 2007)
– Written a popular weekly wine column for a local newspaper
– Hosted countless Food with Wine events that have delighted audiences
